Each writer is discussed in a lengthy essay from 10 to 40 pages, which includes a personality portrait, an overview of the works, critical commentary, and three appendices (a brief biography, primary bibliography, and secondary bibliography). A substantive and useful resource for the advanced student. Neither alphabetized nor indexed. Access to a particular author can be gained by consulting the table of contents.
